Reference C2 About "Andromedes Victory" Andromedes forms part of the rich Ancient History of Greek and Roman era. Mythology was part of the Ancients' lives, revealing war, peace, celebration, adoration and fantastic skill in relief sculpture or vase painting. This era brought about new civilizations (the Roman Aqueducts and town planning), who were nomadic for centuries before small villages appeared, All this history is "told" to us by art works, architecture and paintings. Without these treasures, we would not have the knowledge we have. Principles of Greek Culture and Ancient History were my two BA subject whilst studying Fine Art and History of Art. |
