About Victoria

Victoria Macdonald

1942 - Victoria was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In her early twenties she spent a few years in Spain, also visiting other European countries, as well as Israel. She loved the great variety of customs, their quaintness, the beauty of their land and the greatness of their art.[0xD][0xA][0xD][0xA]Having emigrated with her husband and children to South Africa in 1973, Victoria fell in love with this beautiful and multifaceted country. Where else to see such rich colours, such wealth of wildlife, the incredible variety of plants, beautiful trees and wild flowers! Where else does one find the infinity of landscapes which, hopefully, will not be spoilt by progress and greed? For Victoria, living in George, on the Garden Route, is just great. A number of Victoria's paintings are in private collections in Canada, England, Norway and Italy, Scotland and Kenya, as well as in various South African centers.
