About "Bafana Bafana 2010"

With all the soccer fever going around in South Africa, I decided to do an art piece that will not only draw attention but also stand out from all the works I have seen before. I gathered some photos and pictures and started drawing each individual face. Later on I started painting this picture as it needed some colour. Every moment I painted I got more and more inspired and added some extra fine detail to my work. I feel that this is my best achievement ever. I look forward to start on my new painting and hope it will be just as extraordinary as this painting.

About Jackie

After completing High School back in 1996, I took on a career in accounting, which I did for several years. I thought that this was my destiny, as I got a lot of praise for my work.
A couple of years ago, I realized that this is not who I am. From an early age, I started drawing pictures and loved old photos. I started taking photos everywhere I went and with every click of my camera, my pictures got better.
I'm currently doing Wedding Photography and Art.

Art to me is the ability to look beyond the surface and see something truly unique and beautiful. I absolutely love painting and photography, for this is my way to express myself. When adding finishing touches to any of my work, I just embrace the moment by sitting back and saying to myself "Wow".
I take a lot of pride in my work and I'm always willing to take on any new challenges life throws at me.
