About "Eland Spirit"

The works in this collection came about through a spontaneous creative reaction to the space that I found myself in during the Rural Thupelo workshop which took place in Wellington in August 2012.

These sculptures explore the idea of the mythical and through collaboration with other artists a narrative is created. Which explores mans relationship with nature as well as the interpretation of the value of fauna and flora through anthropomorphic forms.
