At the beginning of winter in SA, these flowers pop up everywhere, along little streams, in unplanned gardens, etc. I love the way in which they show their faces so unannounced.

I have always been interested in all forms of art, including painting, drawing, architecture, acting, music, hairdressing and even landscaping. I am inspired by the beauty of God's creation all around me and I see possible paintings wherever I go. I consider myself a versatile artist, and paint landscapes, seascapes, portraits, florals, boats and still life paintings. I have been a teacher for many years, but my dream is to become a full time artist in the near future.
