About "The Breakdown"

The breakdoen is kind of a metafor for things breaking down and falling apart. The woman is standing next to the car, which has broken down, but she makes no effort to repair it or go for help. So is it the car that broke down, or has the woman broken down?

About Lalie

I am still very young in artists' terms, but I feel that I have alot to offer and alot to learn at the same time. I am inspired by beauty, as most people are, and I love small details that make a picture interesting and keeps the viewer captivated for a long time.
I also love something that looks modern but is actually just a new way of doing something traditional.

I believe in the process of making a piece of art, but the finished product is just as important - the process lasts but a few days, while the art lasts forever.

At the end of the day the reason that I paint and draw, is simply because it makes me happy to think that I can make something beautiful, where before, there was nothing.
