I love old cars and tractors. They were high quality and robust vehicles, made to last. I was in my element going to an exhibition of tractors, trains and other farming implements, which inspired me to paint pictures of tractors.

About Bear

I have been a graphic designer and have drawn many book illustrations. I felt it a strain drawing so small. (I had to draw to actual size!) So I went big and did huge pop art paintings inspired by Roy Lichtenstein while at art school. I love drawing, especially cartoons and reading comics when I was a kid inspired me to draw. I love multimedia and pencil because I feel I can control what I'm doing much better!
I love painting or drawing faces. Sometimes a face can tell a story and sometimes I feel part of the character I'm drawing. With paintings I don't like being confined to a rectangle or square, thats why the paintings become the 'canvas' by me cutting out the shape out of Supawood (it also has a nice smooth surface to work on!)
