About Jack

'Grand Master Artist', Jack Lugg, passed away on 16 September 2013. He died at 89 years of age following a bout of Pneumonia.
Up until a few weeks before his passing, Lugg was still in good health and was painting and sculpting with his usual passion for Art.

Jack Lugg has held 35 one-man exhibitions both nationally and internationally. At a retrospective exhibition in Pretoria, in 1987, Jack was presented with a silver medal for services to art in South Africa.
