About Elize

After completing a four-year course with the Ritter School of Arts in Durban, the artist joined the well-known art group, Art Alfresco. She enjoyed taking part in their regular exhibitions for eleven years. During this period, she also studied
portraiture under the guidance of Guy Savvy. She loved experimenting with colour, texture, and abstract work under Peter V Blommenstein. For several years, she was also a member of the High
way Art Group in Westville. In 1990, she moved to Jeffreys
Bay, East Cape, where she founded an art school and presently
still teaches art.
