About Bettina

Bettina is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

I am mostly self taught and enjoy learning and experimenting with different mediums and styles. I admire many artists' work but am particularly drawn to Picasso and Franz Marc. I have very eclectic interests and a lifelong passion for the beauty of the unspoilt African veld. I am deeply concerned by the increasing damage to our natural environment by human ignorance and greed. I have always felt a deep innate empathy with animals and know that they are self aware and worthy of respect and enjoy creating art with an animal or nature theme.

I acknowledge God, the Ultimate Artist with humble gratitude.
