About Heloïse

Heloïse is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

I do find my inspiration from Gods Creation. In nature the forms, textures and patterns normally catch my eye. I have to take a photo then...these intricate details end up as a colourful abstract painting. In contrast to this I also do like to paint landscapes, people and scenes that appeal to me in any manner. My paintings then are an impression of what I see.

I lived for three years in France and The Netherlands. My experiences there are currently memories that weave their way through my creations. During this time I also completed a propadeutic lecturer education at the "Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten". Although I enjoyed my studies then I had to return to Africa for I felt like a cactus plant trying to grow in snow...finding my roots again on this continent I am currently living my own African dream.
