About Tania

Tania is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Tania is a versatile artist with a few established styles. She has been exhibiting in a few galleries since 2005 when she kicked it off with Karen Yssl at Bloemendal Wijnhuis. Her first solo exhibition, ONTVLUGTING / FLIGHT OF DREAMS, was held at Rust-en-Vrede Gallery with Theo Paul Vorster earlier this year.
She works in oils, acrylics and soft pastels and is known especially for commission work. She works from her home studio where she offered adult and children’s art classes in the past. She now only focuses on her refining her own techniques and exhibiting.

Tania grew up in Durbanville, a suburb of Cape Town. She loves to paint flowers, portraits and landscapes. Her styles vary from semi-abstract to realistic. Her works are well balanced and vibrant with colour and texture.

She believes in always being true to herself and her unique perception of life.
"Life is your canvas. As a soul, you choose your starting colours-which are your body, your personality, your country and family. Then you come into your life, with your paintbrushes and colours ready to begin the artwork called your life. Your life purpose is to hold your paintbrushes with joy and to paint a picture of life that is true to you."
