David Kingwill

David is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

David M Kingwill. Born & bred on a sheep farm in the Karoo, my passion is the conservation, preservation and enjoyment, of the wondrous beauty of our natural heritage - bush, birds, beasts and human beings. My faces of Eve were an attempt to show beauty through the world: Do the gentle Lua of Thailand see beauty in the scarred ebony skinned Nuban? Or could our Xhosa warrior be interested in the shy, mournful, thin Asmat headhunter girl? After doing a number of African maidens, I tried other tribes and peoples in America and Asia.
Giclée prints on Art Paper, in limited number and signed are available for all "Eve" portraits, and can be sized anywhere between A4 & A3 by request.
