About Murray

Murray is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Murray Jacklin is a self taught photographer specialising in landscape, wildlife, still life and abstract images. He has travelled extensively throughout the world.

His inspiration comes from nature, form and texture. His work tries to convert a moment in time from the hardness of a traditional photograph to a timeless piece of art.

He has been published in several magazines and been applauded at various photographic competitions, most recently the Fujifilm Photograhic Awards. His work is displayed in several private collections in South Africa.
