Susan Le Roux-Wagener

Susan is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

I discovered my talent the day I picked up my first crayon as a child in Robertson, South Africa. At school I specialized in caricatures and pinups of my teachers in order to entertain my friends. Thereafter my life took many turns and only in 2006 my serene and peaceful life allowed me to enter the commercial art world on a fulltime basis.
Creating a painting makes me happy! People inspire me and I love the beauty of the female form and the way that mood and emotion can be conveyed by the pose and the contrast of light. I enjoy doing fun stuff like pinups and recently I'm busy painting seascapes.
My extensive studio and galery set-up at home is the ideal environment for me to
pursue my passion. I am happily married to Andre Wagener and we live in Franskraal, South Africa. Welcome to my world and I am pleased to meet you.
