About "District Six Stone Street"

The memories pored in and out of me while repainting this painting bringing the old times back of District Six in 1980.
Nostalgia, desolation and sadness as in a motionless moment of time when I captured this view befor the bulldosers flattened the area.
The life distroyed and now brought back to those who remember the gay and happy times just there.

I taught art at various Technicons in Zirl, Telfs, and Imst in Tirol Austria.
