Tamarind is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Having been born in the Karoo district my roots are deeply embedded in the Eastern Cape (South Africa).
Since my early childhood days I had a love for drawing and painting.

I am a self taught artist and sold my first painting at the age of 18. I fell in love with the idea of expressing
beauty and expression.I love using strong bright colours and my preferred medium is oil. My work is influenced
by both classical and modern ideas.

I now live in Melkbosstrand ,Cape Town and the beautiful surroundings have a big influence on my work.
