About Bill

Bill is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

He is a great lover of nature and wild life and living close to that environment inspires him tremendously to be creative. He considers himself fortunate to live where he does, in Nelspruit (having moved from Johannesburg in the early 70'), as there is an almost never ending source of subject matter on his doorstep. I addition a visit to Kenya several years ago, still serves as a great source of inspiration to him. He believes that he presents a true representation of the subjects he selects and that those viewing his work, see what he sees. He started his creative career using water colours and subsequently moved to pastels. He is now starting to work in oils as he feels that artistic works should be able to travel well and be easily transported. He has also dabbled in sculpture and found it very rewarding.
