Annette is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa. Nature, people and beauty all around speak to me of God and inspire me to paint. Our farm in Tulbagh is surely a heavenly place for any artist. Mountains, trees, fruit, dams, vehicles, farmworkers, houses; everywhere are magnificent scenes. To paint is my way of praise and worship. My work is mostly colourful and lively. I love landscapes most of all. Lately, however, ripe and luscious fruit have inspired me. I pick the fruit, I enjoy its smell and colour and shape. Then I paint it. Sometimes for several days. The last step: I eat it all!
