About Wendy

Wendy Ferguson

Wendy is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Studied in Zululand under well-known South African artist, Diamond Bozas.

Thus began my love affair with all things creative – oil painting led to watercolours, to pastels, acrylic and mixed-media collage. Wire structures, hand-knotted macrame
hangings, weaving and sculpture all vie for time with my patient and understanding family.

Subject matter ranges from landscape to livestock, but my true leanings are portraits and figure studies.

Have participated in exhibitions at NSA gallery, Durban;
Art-in-the-Park, Pietermaritzburg; a University of Zululand exhibition which toured South Africa; shows in Eshowe, Empangeni, Gingindhlovu, Mtunzini and more recently Ballito, Salt Rock, Mount Edgecombe, Umhlanga and the ‘Crowe’ exhibition in Gateway.
