Debra is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

I find much joy and inspiration in my surroundings the beauty of God’s creation is mind blowing and looking at things with an artist eye I see a painting in most things.
I began sketching and painting at a very young age and have been painting now for +- 30 years and have never yet lost my passion. Being an artist is to be aware of and recognize your talent whilst developing ones inner self. I am a self taught artist with no formal training. I painted mostly for gifts and my own home, specializing in hand painted kitchens and furniture, but have been painting fulltime for the past 3 years. I have paintings in London, Scotland, Texas, Sweden, Germany and Australia.
I am very much a realist but have done numerous abstract too. One of my favorite subjects is nudes and I have done many commissions. Knowing a painting brings a client joy every time they look at it in there home is the ultimate satisfaction. !!
