About Juliet

Juliet Grey

Juliet is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Juliet Grey was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
She grew up as the middle sister of three daughters, under the watchful and encouraging eye of her adventurous outdoor parents. Spending most of her adolescence barefoot under the vast and beautiful Zimbabwean sky, the wild and free country nurtured her God given talent.

Juliet has a deep love for people and, being never more than a stones throw from a pencil or brush, combined these passions in her life when she started teaching art at prestigous schools such as St Georges in Harare. Recently she decided to persue painting full time from her studio in the hills of the Natal midlands.

As an artist, Juliet becomes completely absorbed in a new piece spending as much time choosing her subject as capturing it on canvas. If you do ever have the chance to meet this colourful woman, you will most likely hear Madeleine Peyroux crooning gently from her studio as she leaves a lasting impression in your heart.

Juliet is very blessed to have her paintings hanging in private collections in Africa, Australia and the United Kingdom. Her passion for art continues to be a source of strength and humility for her.
