About Noel

Noel Smith

Noel is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

I am a self taught wildlife artist, born and living in Durban, South Africa. My art started at an early age, painting birds in Guache and progressed in my late teens to the use of oils with the start of landscape wildlife. At present I am a part time artist travelling into the wild whenever possible for inspiration with regular trips into Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia. My passion for wildlife and conservation is a driving force and it is my long term ambition is to dedicate full time efforts to wildlife art and conservation.
