About Donna

Donna is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

I love painting light and the effects it has on the landscape and architecture. My heart lies with the landscapes of the Karoo. I love the mountains and desert and the sparse South African homesteads. I want to portray a sense of mood with my paintings and I use the light and shadows to tell my story.
I am recently working on fractured landscape which I hope portray the different lives and times of a particular scene.
I enjoy painting very large scenes as well as small pieces from time to time.
