About Sabine

Sabine Roberts

Sabine is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

I was inspired to paint and draw by my grandfather, the greatest artist I know. My parents have motivated me to challenge myself to find my own unique style and technique.

Even though I didn't go on to study Art after high school, I have not stopped sketching and painting in my spare time. I decided to work with the body and have become a Massage Therapist and Pilates instructor. I love the human form and how it is designed to move and heal itself. Most of my work is inspired by the human body.

From a young age I was privileged to be around horses a lot as my mother breads them in Namibia. They truely are magestic animals in their movement, grace and personalities. Each one is special and there is so much I have learn't from them. Like the human body, horses are also my passion.

Art is a way for me to express my feelings and how I see the world.
