About "Frangipani"

The soft texture of the sweet fragrant frangipani was my inspiration. How nature can produce something so delicate. I enjoyed experimenting with the bright pink tone found on the young flowers and the essence of the finesse of these elegant flowers.

This piece is professionally mounted.

About Jennifer

Jennifer Van Niekerk

Jennifer is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

In conjunction with Art history I studied additional subjects: Painting and textile design. Here I obtained skills that does not primarily pertain to textile, but techniques and basics carried out universally in most aspects of design, with a primary focus on Aesthetic design. Predominantly self taught.

Currently residing in the Mother city, I enjoy exploring a multitude of different media, with a particular fancy for recycled and salvaged materials and wood.
