About Marie

Marie Morrison

Marie is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

Being raised in an extensive family of artists and art-enthusiasts, Marié Morrison's passion for art was ignited at a very young age. Her love of art became evident throughout her school career, and in 2003 she graduated her Graphic Design Diploma Course with honours.

Although her career in graphic design & advertising provides a platform for honing her creativity on a daily basis, Marié's true infatuation with art takes shape in her paintings. Her quest to explore the relationship between colours and respecting the value of a compelling composition results in very honest and personal depictions of a subject. She regards herself as in a deep ever-evolving love relationship with her art, and endeavours to showcase this to the world by means of her paintings.
