This artwork was inspired by a sculpture of another artist, and this was my attempt to capture the brighter side of the lonely sculpture I saw on display at the Museum.

"I never considered my self an artist, but always knew that I have the ability to draw pictures, it is only when I was introduced to the artworks of Gerald Sekoto,Gorge Pemba and other artists at the Johannesburg Art gallery in 1987,I was inspired."
Born,01 May 1972, Mabopane Northwest province, South Africa.
I am a full time Artist and a postage stamps designer for the South African Post office, I studied art part time at the Johannesburg art gallery from 1987 to 1989, from 1995 I studied fine art full time at the Open Window school of visual communication in Pretoria for three years(1995 to 1997) and obtained a diploma in fine arts and a certificate in visual communication, I began my art career as a full time artist in 1998.
As a Postage stamps designer.
In 2001 I was commissioned for the first time by the South African Post office to design the World summit postage stamp, a canceller and a commemorative envelope. Since 2001 I have designed more than 32 postage stamps,6 commemorative envelopes and more than 14 cancellers. At the moment,in 2012, I am designing 10 new postage stamps, 2 commemorative envelopes and 2 cancellers for the year 2013,new stamps will be available from July 2013.
