About "Fearless"

I capured this buffalo on canvas after an encounter with him in the Kruger National Park. He stopped and stared at me in the afternoon light, just willing me to make a move. The only move I made was to keep pressing the buttons on my camera. I will never forget the intensity of the look in his eyes. What an animal.

Zelna is an Artist with SouthAfricanArtists.com based in South Africa.

The functional and dynamic aspects of the all living things is a miracle. As an artist and avid conservationest I can never get enough of observing nature and wild animal interaction. My other great love is horses and capturing their movement and grace is always challenging but so wonderful when you get it right! I shall be launching an all horse solo exhibition in May 2012 consisting of oil paintings and sculpture.

All works are done on stretched, acid-free canvas with best quality acrylics and oils.
