Highly textured Acrylic using layer upon layer of semi gloss glazing technique, the effects of which are really evident in good lighting. I have tried to portray the photograph as close to the colors of the original as possible. The painting is on mounted stretched canvas and the border has been glazed using the same colors as the darkest colors of the negative spaces in the background. |

Since retiring from a career as a school librarian I have been privileged to enjoy experimenting with acrylics and various materials and textures and I am always game to try something new or different.
