About Cynthia

Practiced as a Nursing Sister for 35 years and raised family during that time. Resumed painting – Fabric, Acrylic and Oils in 2001, concentrating on Bushman art under the name Mackoi.

Studied 1949 – 1955 under George de Leon, Maurice van Essche and Eric Laubscher at Continental and Contemporary School of Art. 1956 – 59 under Prof. De Villiers studying history and art and architecture. 1960 through 1964 Carinus Nursing College.
