About Craig

What inspires me? Colour. Colour. Colour! Energy. Nature. Symmetry. Did I mention colour? I am slow to start things, but once I do I get into a bit of a frenzy. I scrub and dab, slap and swish, scribble and scrape. I use brushes and knives and fingers and rags. What a bloody mess, the studio is a disaster. I can't tell you what my motivation is ... insert psycho mumbo jumbo here. Art is war. War between instinct and convention. I think convention tends to gets the upper hand in my work but I am fighting it tooth and claw.
