About Samantha

I've finally found my true love in painting and it's wonderful. I've been painting for 2-3 years. Before that I'd never thought about it. I realized one day that I love paintings and that I'm a visual person and so I picked up a paintbrush!
I am inspired to capture a visual moment in time for others that is something a bit special so you want to spend time studying the painting, enjoying the shapes, colours, textures, place and time. I aim to paint in a realistic style and am striving to be able to paint like John Singer Sargent one day: real but with magic
