About "African Twins"

Billy Molokeng was born in 1949 in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg. He was orphaned at a very young age and was brought up by his sisters. In order to make a day-to-day living he started selling his own drawings and paintings. His talent was soon recognised by a wealthy sponsor who enabled him to attend a private art school.

This piece, entitled "African Twins", is a fusion of African motifs and culture and urban life and displays a very unique style that has developed and matured.

Billy Molokeng has taken part in various group and solo exhibitions locally and abroad with much success.

This piece is unframed.
