About "African Wildlife: Vervet Monkey"

This was after a photo I saw in a doctor's waiting room. What inspired me was the intense stare of the monkey. I wanted to portray the same intensity in the eyes in my version of this monkey. The eyes in the original photo, had a sinister message: Beware, your ignorance might be your downfall.
