About Wendy

Pastels, watercolours and oils - mixed media collage, wire structures, weaving, sculpture - ultimately a love affair with all things creative.
Subject matter ranges from landscape to livestock, portraits and figure studies with a natural progression to the large abstract works now leaving my studio.

Exhibitions

In earlier years exhibited mainly in Zululand - Eshowe,Empangeni, Gingdhlovu, Mtunzini followed by a University of Zululand prize which resulted in a touring exhibition for a year to South Africa's major cities.
Art-in-the-Park, Pietermaritzburg followed and participation in several NSA exhibitions in Durban. Now based on north coast of Kwa Zulu Natal and exhibit in Ballito, Salt Rock, Umhlanga, La Lucia, Mount Edgecombe,the Crowe exhibition in Gateway, several galleries in Melbourne, Australia as well as in a private home gallery in Sheffield Beach.
My works have found homes from Mozambique to Mauritius, UK to Uganda, USA, Australia, Italy, France, Canada and Brazil and many parts of South Africa.
