About "Cold Night"

I came across this scene one cold night i the fishing village of Arniston on the Cape coast. I was inspired by the warm light of the fires reflected in the expectant faces of the fishermen. Will it be a good day for fishing tomorrow

About Noeline

Noeline McMaster

With two artistic grandfathers, Noeline grew up with a lifelong love of things artistic. She attended the Frank Joubert Art School as a child and became addicted to the smell of paint, clay, turps and all the trappings of an artist[0x1]s world. She has dabbled in most spheres of creative art and craft including screen printing, batik, embroidery, copper work and, for many years, ran her own pottery studio.
In 1997 she began to study painting with Almarie Williams and thereafter with Ryno Swart for five years. She has also attended many workshops given by, among others, Louis Audie, Dale Elliott, Lesley Charnock and Elva Palombo.
She is a member of the SA Society of Artists and the Plein Air group, who traverse Cape Town and it[0x1]s environs, painting the city which she loves.
She has taken part in many group exhibitions with SASA, Art Portfolio and The Plein Air Painters of the Cape. Her work may be found in many collections both at home and overseas.
She hopes that you will enjoy her paintings as much as she has enjoyed creating them.
