About "Come Join the Dance 3"
It often touches me when I see kids, living in some of the most desperate situations of poverty, war and social meltdown, yet they still have a carefree joyfulness about the way they play. One of the sayings I live by is:
[0x1]Life isn[0x1]t about waiting for the storm to pass, it[0x1]s about learning to dance in the rain.[0x1]
In their case, the storm may never pass, and yet they make the best of it[0x1] many of us in much better situations could learn from these kids!

About Sue
I love expressing my reaction to what I see around me in bold loose brushstrokes and vibrant colours, sometimes abstract, sometimes not! My themes and the way I express them vary widely. I used to work mainly in oils, but also use photography and collage to express ideas. The latest series of work uses encaustic and cyanotype. The melted wax brings a wonderful dimension of transparency and texture to the work.
