About "Cracked Pots"
I was inspired by the scripture in 2 Timothy 2:15-26, where Paul uses the analogy of a vessel. This analogy hearkens back to that of Jeremiah 18:1-6. In this passage, the prophet explains how God is constantly forming us into the vessels He has planned.
My name is Catherina-Elizabeth Jonker, I sometimes paint under the name “Rina Jonker” and some of my paintings are signed “Elbeth” (meaning house of God). To be creative is my passion. I studied art at the Rona Zwarts School of Art from 1983 to 2012 and have participated in various group exhibitions.
