About "Gentle Foliage "

Flowers have always attracted me as far as painting goes and to be able to replicate in a more contemporary style. Using colour and line. Forced to be creative. I loved the way the petals folded almost giving the look of several flowers in one.

About Pamela

After studying art with distinction, she returned to her easel when her children grew up. Today she runs two art studios, but her happiest hours are still spent creating.

Her work celebrates macro floral art - especially hydrangeas - where petals cluster and seem to hold their fragrance. For Pamela art is an inner journey to peace.

She also explores semi-abstract paintings, using mixed media, and skyscapes, always chasing the elusive light, colour and mood.
