Annelise Vorster Meyer studied art at Stellenbosch University. She graduated in 1984, and followed a career in photography, corporate design and book illustration.
Her paintings found homes accross the globe, and a textured rhino is part of the collection of prof. Barnett of Australia. Annelise is also one of the artists who does portraits for Sanlam and CEO's of many private companies and individuals.
According to her: "I am intriqued by textures, by light and shade, by life. A picture captures a moment, a painting an interpretation. Share my inspirations, my special love of the Karoo, of people, and especially animals. Let us share the same dream, travel the same road, experience the miracles around us."
Annelise also painted many other paintings, not displayed on this website.
