About Sharleen
I create impressionistic paintings from my studio in Durban on the East Coast of Africa. My work is represented by selected galleries and found in private collections both locally and overseas. For over a decade, I have been a full time artist and was a part owner of two successful galleries. In 2008 I moved on from the gallery and participated in major local art shows in an effort to market myself more fully. My paintings have been described as soft, romantic and an intuitive reveal of the human psyche. Currently, I am enjoying a new series of work using charcoal and white paint on canvas.
