About "In the Shadows"

"In the Shadows" is a case study artwork which was created for the purpose of understanding the concept of how trauma and healing works and how it can be portrayed in the framework of an art piece.
The trauma process deals with our own thoughts, our conscious/ unconscious thoughts that are collected via our own personal experiences and how it impacts our lives to the very moment one picks up a brush to create.
At the same time, a healing process can be established when we tap into our own creative energy zone, one is guided by the painting as we no longer in control of it but by allowing the space, the creative process to take its place in the search of finding once own healing.
