About Kirstie

Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, I have been passionate about art since my childhood. I dabbled in many mediums before finally finding the one I belong in : pencil sketching! I am inspired by everyday works of art - people and their limitless expressions! I love drawing images which speak volumes about their subject - an emotion they are conveying, a certain look in the eye, an atmosphere. There are so many pictures in the world, and so few that actually speak to a viewer...these are the pictures that catch my eye and inspire me.

I get the greatest pleasure from seeing people enjoying and appreciating my work - my small contribution to the world at large!
