About "Lavender Blaze"

Now and then I enjoy releasing to explore a different art style. I had a big box canvas and went brave. Again orange was a sure-go so lavender was it's partner. The distant realistic mountains fell low on the canvas leaving a vast area for a semi-abstract sky and foreground. Hence Lavender Blaze

About Pamela

After studying art with distinction, I returned to my studio after many years bringing up three children. Today I run two bustling art studios, yet my happiest hours are still spent creating, and going to that special place of creativity.

I love working with macro floral art where colourful petals cluster and seem to hold their fragrance. My art is an inner journey to peace.

I also explore semi-abstract paintings, using mixed media as the background, before painting the subject. My playtime.

Whether its macro flora, mixed media semi-abstract, or bold colourful skyscapes, I'm always chasing the elusive quality of light, colour and mood.

I love the diversity in the resulting artworks and I hope my collectors will too!
