I was Born in Holyhead, Anglesey, North Wales.
I have travelled throughout Europe, Australia and recently to Papa New Guinea, on the Island of Lihir this was a fantastic experience.
I live on a 50 acre bush farm, with my husband and two black Labradors, this is our little bit of paradise, surrounded on three sides by a 4,200 acre of private farm running cattle mixed with giraffe, kudu, impala, warthog, just to name some of the wildlife that we see each day.
We are also very blessed to have, 10 Grandchildren, two boys and two girls in England, and three girls and three boys in Australia.
My passion for Art started at school, after my family moved out to South Africa, my interest in Art continued and particular sketching, until my marriage, and then three children, art had to take a back seat, some years past then I saw a watercolour painting of the international recognised Artist Richard Rennie,. His Art was so soft and gentle, I decided there and then that this is what I would like to do.
I attended some of his Art courses which gave me a foundation to develop my own style, of watercolour, concentrated on Landscape, Wildlife and Birds.
Some of these works now hang on the Boardroom walls of companies in South Africa.
I recently tried my hand at using Oils & Acrylics but they do not have the softness and flowlike watercolour however I enjoy the challenges of this diversification.
I have become so enthusiastic about Art that when I finish one painting I cannot wait to start another.
You cannot stop learning about the world of Art, and all the different medium that it offers, I find it so exciting with new challenges every day I have no time to be bored.
My most recent discovery is watercolour Pencil on Canvas which is a fascinating and very creative form of art where you have to use the shadings of Greys and blacks to achieve the contrast.
Please look at my gallery on this web site, I look forward to hearing from you, and of course commission work is always welcome.
