the afrikaans word for love is....liefde

here in africa a lot of mothers carry their babies on their backs. they use beautiful printed fabric. with a little twist of the fabric ,the baby will sit snuggly behind her mommy.

this is a painting of an angel mommy and her baby....and the special kind of love between the two.
