every thing in live expands, live, the background are very organic and with flowing line the same way nature is. but all living form starts with a circle. all things in live have strict rules and principles. the geometrical shapes implement that. this painting live on its own at night. but is essentail to have light on it. all live forms need light to live.

Annelie was born in Hartbeespoortdam, where she
Grew up and went to school.
She studied at Technikon Pretoria, performing
Arts Technology in 2000.
Where she went to Sicily in 2003 to complete
research of Sicilian puppetry for her degree.
There after she moved to Cape Town.
Where she worked for Artscape, painting sets and
backdrops for the theatre. Sortly after she went to
Dubai to work on the ibbunbatutta shopping mall,
Traveling exhibit and to install projects made in
Cape Town by the company marketing theme
She also worked on a couple movies, such as
Doomsday, and other.
She went for a second time around to Dubai to work
on the project Atlantis, Dubai palm Jumeirah.
A Sol Kerzner project. She worked for a company, themeworks and amusement white water, (AWW)
She recently worked on the miniseries, Crusoe.
Annelie is currently furthering her studies at the university of Pretoria in education.
my inspiration as an artist is life, all objects that live. every thing in live has a beginning and a end!
my paintings is a combination of organic lines combined with geometrical elements,as well as how valuable light is in our lives.
