View all 24 works by Garth Palmer About Garth I matriculated in 1980 and then studied Graphic Design at Wits Technicon, where I helped to finance my studies by selling my paintings. After completing my national service I started my long career in advertising. After many years of working for well known agencies, such as Ogilvy Mather Rightford Serltrip and Makin, Lindsay Smithers FCB, J Walter Thompson (JWT)and winning many local and international awards, I joined Evans Hunt Scott. Taking on the challenges of a smaller agency run by myself and Curtis we later bought EHS and changed the name to Guru Advertising. Still running Guru we are a successfully and creative agency which rates in the top 5 creative agencies in SA by "Objectivity".
