The Florist

In a land of whimsical imaginings, Alien Masters cloned a Florist to tend to the flowers in the land. For their own amusement, they placed a magical spiny flower brimming with transformative poison, among the other flowers.
The Florist's curious nature immediately drew him to the flower's soft, fine-quilled head, and he reached out to caress it. Five sharp quills pierced his forefinger, instantly injecting the transformative poison, plunging him into a spinning kaleidoscope vortex until he lost consciousness.
The Florist awoke with immovable frozen limbs, transformed into root-like branches spreading out from his head, which prevented him from speaking a word. Known only to a few, the five enlarged, visible spines held the secret to the Florist Tree-man's return to his original form. This, I believe, to be true.

About Benjamin
is an internationally successful South African artist, born on January 1, 1967, in the Free State. He pursued fine arts from 1985 to 1987 at the Vaal University of Technology and Tshwane University of Technology. As a dedicated full-time artist, Benjamin has built a multifaceted career as a fine artist, scenic artist, illustrator, 2D digital animator, and augmented reality artist. He provides consulting services and conducts workshops on 2D animation and augmented reality using the Artivive app. Additionally, he accepts commissions and collaborates with other artists to animate their works for the Artivive platform.
